Jeannie Gambino
Jeannie Gambino is the founder of Three Arch Advisors, which specializes in senior-level search for the hedge fund industry. Before founding Three Arch Advisors, Jeannie was a Partner at Executive Search firm, Bay Street Advisors, where she ran the Hedge Fund and Asset Management practices. Jeannie has placed numerous PM’s and analysts across asset classes in both the US and London during her 14 years as an executive recruiter. Before her career in executive search, Jeannie spent 10 years as an equity and sales trader at elite Wall St. firms including Spear Leeds and Kellogg, Goldman Sachs and Jefferies in New York and San Francisco. In addition to being a top producer, she co-founded the corporate services desks for both Spear Leeds and Jefferies and ran the West Coast equity desk for Spear Leeds in San Francisco. Jeannie co-founded a startup, EliteGrad,a campus recruiting platform launched in late 2020. She is also the founder of Gambino’s New York Subs, a NY style sandwich shop in downtown San Francisco. She earned a Bachelor’s degree from The University of Memphis, which she attended on a full tennis scholarship. Jeannie is based in Southern California, has two teenagers and is an avid skier and beach volleyball player.
Shannon Lewis
Shannon Lewis is a Managing Director at Three Arch Advisors and has over 20 years of financial services experience. Before joining ThreeArch Advisors, Shannon served as a Managing Partner at Chantico Global and Director of Sales at AltX, a fintech startup. Previously, she was with Tiger Management seeded Cascabel Management as Director of Business Development and was also an SVP with R6 Capital Group, a third-party marketer for several Tiger-seeded funds. Shannon was a partner and founding member of NY-based Ridgecrest Partners, a 700M dollar long/short equity fund and a founding partner and Director of Marketing at Third Coast Capital, a 200 million dollar long/short equity hedge fund. She began her career at Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette in 1994 as an equity salesperson. Shannon graduated from Concordia College with a B.A. in Behavioral science and is Series 22 and 63 licensed. She serves on the boards of Chantico Global and VWellHealth.
Jamie Abrams
Jamie Abrams is a Managing Director at Three Arch Advisors and joined the firm in 2019. Jamie leads the firm’s executive search efforts in Long/Short Equity. Prior to joining Three Arch, Jamie served as a marketing executive and consultant for PrescribeWellness and Tabula Rasa Healthcare respectively. Before that, he spent the first half of his career as an executive producer and writer in the entertainment industry. Jamie holds a J.D. from the Northwestern University School of Law and a B.B.A from Emory University.
Jennifer Padovani
Jennifer Padovani, a seasoned recruiter at Three Arch Advisors, boasts over 25 years of experience in financial services. Previously with Goldman Sachs, she held various roles including Managing Director before retiring in 2015. Jennifer's expertise spans investment banking, hedge funds, and alternative investments. In her post-Goldman career, she excelled in executive recruiting, focusing on equities, derivatives, credit, and C-suite positions. Her extensive industry knowledge and network uniquely qualify her to match top candidates with financial roles. Beyond her professional pursuits, Jennifer is an accomplished equestrian and has contributed to philanthropic initiatives such as Friends of the High Line and 100 Women in Hedge Funds, where she served as Gala Sales Chair. She also serves on the board of the Vinceremos Therapeutic Riding Center.
BRIAN KERWIN
Prior to joining Three Arch, Brian spent over 20 years at Morgan Stanley, focusing most of his efforts on their Equity Derivatives franchise, including Equity Derivatives Institutional Sales Trading where he was responsible for the Asset Owner and Asset Manager investor community.
Prior to Morgan Stanley, Brian spent two years at Lockheed Martin Aerospace Systems as a Program Coordinator and graduated from LeMoyne College in Syracuse, NY.
A native of upstate New York, Brian is based in Saratoga Springs, NY. His interests include as much family time as possible, pond hockey and the Buffalo Bills … Go Bills!
Susan Manis
Susan is a Managing Director and the Head of Research at Three Arch Advisors. She joined the firm in 2014 and has been recruiting in the financial services space since 2004. Before Three Arch, she was essential in building out the buy side practice at her previous firm, with Three Arch’s founder, Jeannie Gambino. She was also one of the very first hires to help build out the US office of ExeuZen, a large London-based search firm focused on the financial services industry. Susan has a long history of placing portfolio managers, analysts, and senior traders across the capital structure at top-tier hedge funds. She has also placed a large number of senior traders and salespeople at various investment banks throughout her career. Susan holds a BA in clinical psychology from The University of California, San Diego. She also received an MS in Psychology from the University of Humanistic Studies and MS in Nutrition from the National Institute of Nutritional Education. Susan grew up in CT and after many years of living and working in NYC, she now splits her time between Florida and Maine.
Sydney Halfacre
Sydney Halfacre is a Recruiting Coordinator at Three Arch Advisors and joined the firm in 2023. Before joining Three Arch Advisors, she was the Operations Manager at EliteGrad, a campus recruiting platform that Jeannie Gambino co-founded. Sydney graduated from Liberty University with a B.A. in Business Administration, Management, and Operations. She is located on the East Coast and travels between New York and Virginia.
